Tis' the season...to spread some extra special festive cheer with these beautiful watercolour Christmas cards. The design for each card begins in Emma's studio in Henley-on-Thames with a simple pencil sketch, which Emma transforms into a painting using specialist Japanese watercolours. The image is then scanned in house and made into a greetings card. There is very little digital adjustment to the original painting so that each card retains that just painted feel.

All cards are lovingly printed in Oxfordshire onto FSC certified 280 gsm watercolour card stock and come with a recycled brown Kraft envelope.

All you will need is:

  • Paint: red and brown - watercolour is best but any water based paint you can get your hands on will be fine

  • Pencil

  • Paper - again watercolour paper is best but if you do not have this try to find the thickest plain paper you have

  • Pot of water and some tissue to dry brushes

  • Cup of tea or Christmas cocoa optional :)
