Circle III: Land

Framed original watercolour and 24k gold leaf painting
'Circle II - Land' part of my Cyclical Nature series of paintings.
 
This painting is based on the idea of home and belonging. The 3 koi represent the past, present and future and the legacy we leave behind.
 
Painted using specialist Japanese watercolours on prized St. Cuthbert's Mill Saunders Waterford paper. Museum grade 24k gold leaf was applied entirely by hand.
