This original hand gilded watercolour was auctioned as part of Art on a Postcard Summer Auction 2020. Emma was invited to make 4 postcard sized watercolours which were auctioned to raise money for the Hepatitis C Trust.
 
'Gold Leaf' was painted using specialist Japanese watercolours on Daler Rowney highest quality watercolour paper. 24k gold leaf was applied entirely by hand. The single gilded leaf sits in contrast to the surrounding watercolour and catches the changing light beautifully.
 
Emma's 'Berry Special' painting was chosen alongside Carl Moore's 'Neon Elephant' to advertise the Art on a Postcard auction in The Times newspaper, June 2 2020.
