These works were auctioned as part of Art on a Postcard Summer Auction 2020. Emma was invited to make 4 postcard sized watercolours which were auctioned to raise money for the Hepatitis C Trust.
 
'Nature versus/versus Nurture' are two works which were cut down from the same painting, so that the leaves flow from one into the next when placed side by side. They are being auctioned as separate paintings and can function as works in their own right as well as a pair. These paintings explore the debate of nature versus nurture, with the gilded leaves representing those that have been nurtured. It was painted using specialist Japanese watercolours on Daler Rowney highest quality watercolour paper. 24k gold leaf was applied entirely by hand.
 
Emma's 'Berry Special' painting was chosen alongside Carl Moore's 'Neon Elephant' to advertise the Art on a Postcard auction in The Times newspaper, June 2 2020.
